Pilates & Fitness
Mama/Baby Pilates Mondays 10:30-11:30am | Having a baby is one of the greatest challenges our bodies can go through. In this class you will address the changes childbirth has brought to your body, and gently lead your body to recovering its natural strength and flexibility. Pilates is an effective way to increase core strength and stability, relieve postural imbalances, and renew your sense of balance and well-being. We will focus on the particular ways that post-natal moms' bodies are challenged: re-invigorating the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, relaxing and strengthening the neck and upper back, and paying close attention to easing the aches and pains that often come with being a new mom! Bring your baby, and be prepared to have fun while you work on "getting your body back"! What to wear: Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Be prepared to lay on the floor and move your arms and legs in any direction. | Drop in: $15 or class card Pre-registration required, 8 weeks for $100 |
Open Level Pilates Mondays 5:00-6pm | This class is all about overall strength and balance, with an emphasis on the core structures: abdominals, spine and pelvis. Come ready to work hard on your foundation, and be prepared to enjoy feeling your body become more resilient, stable and responsive! All levels are welcome. What to wear: Non-restrictive comfortable clothing | Drop in: $15 or class card Pre-registration encouraged, $100 for an 8-week session |
